Now, considering the iPhone is the only phone that Apple makes, it is obvious that the company likes to brag about its cameras with every new release, especially for the pro model, and this year was no different. During the reveal, Apple talked highly of the iPhone 15 Pro Max's cameras and how they can take much, much better pictures than the last generation of smartphones, but being a photographer, I believe that an excellent camera in the wrong hands will never be able to create wonders.
In the right hands, the iPhone 15 Pro Max's cameras are capable of doing wonders
That is why Apple went to professional photographers Stephen Wilkes and Reuben Wu and talked about their experience with the cameras on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and both photographers had some really good things to say.
Stephen Wilkes and Reuben Wu took the iPhone 15 Pro Max for a spin, and there are some pictures they have taken from the phone's camera, showing just how powerful the camera system is. You can have a look at some of the images below.
Wilkes talked about how the image quality on the new iPhone 15 Pro Max is great, and the fact that you can actually take photos and turn them into prints is even better. Wilkes created a photo series called The Endless Summer, which was shot on Block Island in Rhode Island, Reuben Wu, on the other hand, shot a series called The Inner Landscape in the deserts of southern Utah.
Even Apple CEO Tim Cook visited teh exhibition to see the pictures that were shot using the iPhone 15 Pro Max

I've never doubted Apple's work and dedication towards making sure that they are making improvements to its camera system, and this year is the same case. The new iPhone has exceptional cameras on paper, but these pictures by professionals only prove that when in the right hands, these are some of the most capable cameras. Sure, we are still far from the day when smartphone cameras could rival professional cameras, but it is more than safe to say that they are headed in the right direction, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds.
