Currently, the company is expected to announce the new iPad Pro, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and the 24-inch iMac with an M3 chip. According to leaker Revegnus on X, the new OLED iPad Pro models with M3 chips are expected to feature a significant price increase.
The leaker claims that all of his sources are "confident" that the price of the new OLED iPad Pro models will increase significantly. The tipster claims that the price of the OLED iPad Pro will be around $1,500 while the bigger 13-inch model will be priced at around $1,800. The staggering prices are almost twice as much as the current models.
Currently, the price of the 11-inch iPad Pro is $799 while the 12.9-inch model rests at $1,099 for the base models. The higher price tags could be due to a new design and the incorporation of the OLED display instead of LCD on the 11-inch model and mini-LED on the 12.9-inch model. Next year, the company is planning to eradicate the discrimination between the two models and offer OLED displays on both.
Apple will also offer a wide range of new additions to the iPad Pro models such as improved camera hardware, AI capabilities, and much more. The company could also enhance the functionalities of the USB-C port on iPad Pro models. In terms of design, the company could offer slimmer bezels on the device similar to Samsung's Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra.
