Changes to Xbox Game Pass tiers are inbound due to the rumored inclusion of the new Call Duty on Microsoft's subscription service. Yesterday we covered a report from outlet WSJ that claimed that this year's Call of Duty entry would be coming to Game Pass. Possibly the news is to be announced during next month's Xbox showcase. Xbox fans, and some of their employees, were blindsided earlier this month when Microsoft announced a number of their studios were being shuttered, including the “gut stab” closure of Arkane Austin, developer of the acclaimed Prey and the more troubled Redfall. Earlier this week, the studio announced that Fallout 76 surpassed one million daily players across all platforms for the first time since its launch in late 2018. The multiplayer game is one of the top sellers on Steam (and elsewhere), largely thanks to various promotions and offers that have, however, since ended.
